Project Title/Objectives:  Instal­la­tion of a hand made green oak gates and posts in South Cam­bridge.  The metal work on these gates was also hand made.

Oak can be quite dif­fi­cult to work work with in cer­tain sit­u­a­tions.  The gates needed care­ful atten­tion to detail when hang­ing as there was very lit­tle tol­er­ance in the hand made metal work

These gates and posts were client sup­plied and had been in stor­age for nearly 4 years.  That said they still didn’t look to0 bad once fit­ted, although a good clean of the sur­face of the gates was recommended.

Being oak, and heav­ily con­structed, the life of these gates should be extensive
