Project Title/Objectives: Instal­la­tion of a stan­dard close board (or feather edge) fence to pro­vide a new bound­ary to a domes­tic gar­den in Cam­bridge.  We also removed the exist­ing fence.

Client: Pri­vate house­holder based in Mil­ton, just north of Cam­bridge city

Descrip­tion: Stan­dard feather edge fence con­sist­ing of the following:.

• Posts are 2.4m length, pres­sure treated with a diam­e­ter of 100 mm x 100 mm. Posts are sunk into the ground 600mm and con­creted to give an over­all fin­ished height of 1.8m.
• Gravel boards are 150mm in depth and 3m long, actual boards are 1.65m in height
• Cant rails (3m lengths) are nailed onto the posts, with boards sub­se­quently nailed onto the rails.ailed o

Out­come: Aes­thet­i­cally pleas­ing and func­tional bound­ary fence to replace the worn out panel fence that was orig­i­nally there..
