Equine, paddock and post and rail fencing in East Anglia

If you are within East Anglia and require the installation of high quality fencing for horses, paddocks, stables or field boundary fencing then please feel free to contact us– we are a family-run, professional fencing contractor operating across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Fenland Fencing specialise in providing, secure, effective, durable and cost-efficient fencing systems for horses and equine related areas.  There are many types of fence suitable for this scenario and we have listed a few below:

Post & Rail fencing East Anglia

Post & Rail fencing East Anglia

Post & Rail fencing: A tried and tested favourite– highly functionally but also pleasing on the eye

We supply and erect post and rail with a variety of options i.e. 2, 3 or 4 rails with either 1.8 or 2.4m bays.  All timber is high quality and treated.  The posts sizes are normally 75x125mm or 75x150mm with both 1.8m and 2.1m heights available. Post and rail fencing generally follows the contours of the land and is easily suited to the installation of gates, features etc along the fencing runs.

.

Tornado Equine/Horse wire: A superb UK made product, we are proud users of Tornado equestrian fencing (see here ).

Tornado wire has close wire spacing on both the vertical and horizonatal  wires (also called line and stay wires) which impart both strength and impact resilience upon the fence.

Tornado wire is a premium quality product, please don’t think this product even closely resemble ‘wire’ netting (!!).  We often get asked, wont the horses tangle in it, catch feet etc?? These products are specifically designed for the equestrian market, but don’t take our word for it see the Tornado website.

Remember, sometimes its not just about fencing your horses in, but sometimes about fencing other unwanted animals out. Wire is particularly suited for horse fencing where, for example, dogs are a nuisance.

.

Element Protection: Via the usage of wooden fencing we can enclose off small areas of your paddock to provide your horses with much need respite from the weather.

We erect treated timber which is generally between 1.2m and 1.8m tall and provides protection from the wind and rain and generally help keeps your horses in good health.

.

Gates: Please dont forget that you will still need appropriate access.

When considering your options for fencing remember to think about the provisions of secure access i.e. gates and other necessary amenities i.e. shelter/water/stabling.

Fenland Fencing supply and install gates for all your needs.

.

As you can see there are numerous factors to consider when installing horse/equine and post & rail fencing and we can assist with all aspects.

We operate accorss Cambridgeshire Norfolk and Suffolk, and are right in the heart of some great ‘horse’ country.

Please feel free to get in contact with us if we can be of assistance– we do offer free quotations/consultations.
